How you play Discipline Priest

You heal by hurting enemies: every friend with Atonement gets healed by your damage.

Your buttons, most important first

  1. Keep Shadow Word: Pain on the enemy all the time.
  2. Power Word: Shield on a friend about to get hit: it gives Atonement. When Void Shield lights up, use that.
  3. Mind Blast and Penance whenever they are ready: your strongest hits, so your biggest heals.
  4. Nothing else ready? Smite. Someone very low? Flash Heal on them.
More enemies: Before the whole group gets hit: Power Word: Radiance gives everyone Atonement, then hit hard. Big hit coming? Evangelism first.
Biggest mistake: Hitting enemies while nobody has Atonement: then your damage heals nobody.

Hero talents

Voidweaver (best in raids): Mind Blast opens a rift. Stand still and cast Void Blast while it is open.
Oracle (best in dungeons): Penance gets a second charge. Cast Power Word: Shield right after each Penance.
