How you play Mistweaver Monk

Keep Renewing Mist on everyone. Your kicks heal too, and Vivify heals everyone who has a mist.

Your buttons, most important first

  1. Renewing Mist on cooldown. Don't let its charges sit full.
  2. Rising Sun Kick on cooldown: it hurts the enemy and makes your mists last longer.
  3. Thunder Focus Tea whenever it is ready, then Renewing Mist: that mist lasts much longer.
  4. Someone about to die? Vivify on them. Really bad? Life Cocoon.
  5. Nobody needs healing? Tiger Palm and Blackout Kick on the enemy: your hits heal friends a bit.
More enemies: Whole group low: Revival, or Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent in raids and Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane in dungeons. Not all at the same time.
Biggest mistake: Forgetting Mana Tea: drink it before you reach 20 stacks, or you run out of Mana later.

Hero talents

Conduit of the Celestials (best this season): Celestial Conduit when the group takes damage. You can walk while it runs.
Master of Harmony: Thunder Focus Tea releases your stored power. Press Tiger Palm or Vivify right after it.

From the guides: Wowhead 30 Sep · Method 27 Aug · Icy Veins 12 Aug 2026. A patch can change this.

Group

Buttons you press for someone else or for the whole group. For one person: click their name first, then press the button. The grey note says when a button works differently.

to protect someone else: put it on them just before a big hit
when someone is stuck: rooted, slowed or feared
when someone has died

Consumables

Dispel

From your group: debuffs you can remove
  • Detox — Magic, Poison, Disease

In the game this card knows your character. Every button shows the key it is on for you right now, the lists above drop whatever you have not learned, and your bags are checked for the consumables.
