How you play Havoc Demon Hunter

Build Fury with fast hits, spend it on blades, and turn into a demon to hit even harder.

Your buttons, most important first

Metamorphosis once Eye Beam and Blade Dance are both on cooldown. The Hunt whenever it is ready.
Vengeful Retreat, then Eye Beam. After the beam you are a demon for a few seconds.
Essence Break, then Blade Dance whenever ready. As a demon it becomes Death Sweep.
Spend spare Fury on Chaos Strike. As a demon it becomes Annihilation.
Low on Fury? Felblade and Immolation Aura.

More enemies: Same buttons, but Immolation Aura moves up: never let it sit at 2 charges. Blade Dance beats Chaos Strike.

Biggest mistake: Metamorphosis while Eye Beam or Blade Dance is still ready: it resets them, so that reset is wasted.

Hero talents

Fel-Scarred (best this season): in Metamorphosis, use Abyssal Gaze and Consuming Fire when they light up.

Aldrachi Reaver: Reaver's Glaive whenever it is ready, then Chaos Strike and Blade Dance: they hit harder after it.
