How you play Enhancement Shaman

Hit with your weapons to fill Maelstrom Weapon, then spend it on a free, instant lightning spell.

Your buttons, most important first

  1. Your big moment: Ascendance (Totemic: Doom Winds). While it lasts, press Crash Lightning and Stormstrike as much as you can.
  2. Voltaic Blaze and Crash Lightning whenever they are ready.
  3. At 10 Maelstrom Weapon stacks: Lightning Bolt. Never cast it with fewer than 5.
  4. Nothing else ready? Stormstrike, then Lava Lash.
More enemies: From 2 enemies: Chain Lightning instead of Lightning Bolt. Keep pressing Crash Lightning whenever it is ready.
Biggest mistake: Lightning Bolt with fewer than 5 stacks: then it gets a slow cast and hits weakly.

Hero talents

Stormbringer (best this season): Tempest lights up: cast it at 10 stacks instead of Lightning Bolt. Ascendance is your 2-minute burst.
Totemic: every minute Surging Totem, then Sundering, then Doom Winds. Hot Hand lit up? Lava Lash first.
