Build Soul Shards with fire spells, then spend them on a huge Chaos Bolt.
Your buttons, most important first
More enemies: 2 enemies: Havoc on the second one, so your spells hit both. 3 or more close together: Rain of Fire instead of Chaos Bolt.
Biggest mistake: Sitting on 5 Soul Shards: every new one you make is lost.
Hero talents
Hellcaller (best in raids): Immolate becomes Wither. Malevolence on cooldown; spend Soul Shards while it lasts.
Diabolist (best in dungeons): keep casting Chaos Bolt, even on packs. After a Pit Lord it becomes Ruination: press it.
