How you play Brewmaster Monk

Hits turn into slow damage called Stagger. Drink brews to wash it away; your kicks bring the brews back.

Your buttons, most important first

  1. Stagger turns yellow or red? Purifying Brew. Don't let both charges sit unused.
  2. Big hit coming? Celestial Brew (or Celestial Infusion) first: a shield that eats the damage.
  3. Keg Smash every time it is ready, so keep Energy for it. Blackout Kick on cooldown, then Tiger Palm.
  4. Breath of Fire, Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox and Exploding Keg when ready. Spare Energy goes into Tiger Palm.
More enemies: Same buttons. Spare Energy goes into Spinning Crane Kick instead of Tiger Palm, but not twice in a row.
Biggest mistake: Spending all your Energy on Tiger Palm: then Keg Smash is not ready and your brews come back slower.

Hero talents

Shado-Pan (best in dungeons): during Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox, keep pressing Breath of Fire and Keg Smash.
Master of Harmony: after Celestial Brew, your next Tiger Palm hits and heals extra. Press it soon.

In the game this card knows your character. Every button shows the key it is on for you right now, the lists above drop whatever you have not learned, and your bags are checked for the consumables.
